Superb in every way, a unique voice used in a subtle way and accompanied by great musicians, this band really was head and shoulders above what was about at the time and their influence is a testament to that.

I just realized what the lyrics might be about thanks to this video, it's pretty spot on really. The video segments are especially apt for an 80s song. Great work for a fabulous song!

Very captivating. Why doesn't he like to read the news? Why should he read about the problems of the world when the world doesn't care about his problems, or, he doesn't like to because he's in the News(paper), it was on page 10 btw. Everyone can relate to this idea "Do you know anything I'm going through", it's really a vehicle for empathy. True blues in a 80's new wave package.
