We flew to Singapore with Singapore Airlines and visited the marvellous Jewel Changi Airport. It truly a destination in itself. Inside the Jewel is the world's largest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex. Rainwater swirls through the glass oculus and cascades down 40m through the building, where the sight and sound of the falling water is transfixing. There's also a Topiary Walk at Jewel Changi Airport's Canopy Park on the upper level, with bouncing nets and slides. Gorgeous shops and restaurants make the airport feel like an upscale shopping centre and robots clean the floors. It's not hard to see why it retains its top spot as the World's Best Airport, according to the Skytrax rankings. We spent eight hours here and it wasn't enough...
