Instead of using stationary water or chematic, pls just use Frosted-ice with value: 3
it will melt instantly causing natural water to flow, Goodluck!

Hey thanks so much for uploading this, AND ALSO for speaking in English; That I am honoured - I don't realise how lucky I am to be English, (though my father is Danish). Now- I love those work-arounds that you come up with.. I hope you thought of those, but hey - if you learned from others, that's cool too. I love how your mind works lol! Clever kitty. I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm very keen to soak up as much information on World Painter as possible.

Hm, from your level of intellect, I kind of see that you already understand the principles of what I'm about to say, but for others; I would do rivers on flatter terrain. But that doesn't mean not on hills or mountains. For those rivers, much like in your tutorial, I would say that the river, being ancient as it is, with the meander erosion, etc etc, would also have carved into the hillsides to create terraces and waterfalls.. so you would end up with terraces along which the river will follow as it carves its way lazily down, but more around the slope's contours, then down. It might snake a lot more wildly, much like how we build roads up mountains, but the river would in places carve into the hills so much over time, that pools and waterfalls are formed.

At each contour drop, a swelling, (small pool), at the top and a slightly deeper pool below a waterfall. But then, the terrain should be lowered where the waterfall falls, so that it's more level to the next contour. (Much like how Canal locks are). The river goes flat for a while, then just drops as a waterfall at steep points and often at bends where the rock is softer.

rivers dont curve, they follow the terrain; a lot of times thats straight, unless the mountain terrain is ridgid or the plains are fully flat, in which case the flood plain would change the river shape over time.

Why is your river on a ridgeline? It's supposed to be In a valley, and there's literally one right next to your video. The water would flow down there instead.
