Welcome to the first episode within a series title ‘The Michel Serres Project’ In this series I aim to interview interview a Michel Serres scholar or researcher on one of Serres’ numerous text, or an aspect of Serres’ philosophy.

In this episode I’m joined by Massimiliano Simons, a post-doctoral researcher in the philosophy of science at the University of Ghent. We discuss Michel Serres’ book *The Parasite*, forms of parasite, the philosophy of the parasite, desire, mimesis and the philosophy of science.

Serres is such an underrated thinker, thank you for spreading the word. Serres was a truely poetic thinker and makes for a very enjoyable read even if you don't always understand his points

Excellent stuff!
There are Species which are not parasites.
The Sun for example is about Sharing as are Good Humans and Animals.
