My dad was in Constriction 50+ years he started out working Marine Construction then Bridge construction before owning his own framing company he held a Class A engineering contractors license me personally
I liked the dirt side of it Excavating grading land clearing site work
I never learned a lot about the framing aspect of it I was too interested in the dirt work part of it but the way my dad was with his crew and the way he taught and treated his employees was something I will always remember he told me one time when you have men working for you you rule with respect not fear and your crew will do anything for you I'm 55 now and I can say Dad was spot-on because there's no better truth when it comes to working the construction field
