Fortress / Utvrda - Fortica - Pag Croatia

Next to the Pag bridge on the southern tip of Pag Island, there are the ruins of fortress Fortica on the lunar like terrain of southern Pag island which is essentially all rock and a minimal amount of vegetation. Built in the 17th century Fortica was used to ward of pirate attacks in the area.
