It’s funny how the mom is complaining about that the dad is forcing Emir into getting married but she’s about to do the same thing with Cemre. Hypocrisy

I like the way Turkish dramas handle real life issues like infertility, poverty, forced marriages, health challenges etc. Makes them very easy to relate to...loving this from Nigeria 🇳🇬

I never understood why Cavidan didn't simply talk to Hikmet FIRST about Cemre as a potential daughter in law when he first mentioned that he was ready for their son to get married. She had the perfect opportunity to do so in his office when he said marriage would give Emir responsibility and force him to finally grow up.

I understand why Emir's father didn't say anything to his wife, it's clear he doesn't trust her, with good reason, given that he hasn't told her he's terminally ill. Clearly he specifically went looking to bring Reyhan into the family because of the values he believes she will bring with her that are apparently lacking in his family, particularly with his wife and son; but if Cavidan thought Cemre was a good candidate, why didn't she directly say so to her husband?

Meanwhile, Nigar's behavior toward Reyhan makes no sense. From literally the moment the girl walked through the door, she has treated her with an utter disrespect that's inexplicable. It's obvious that Reyhan is someone who is extremely important to Hikmet, the one paying Nigar's salary. Emir's mother might be the lady of the house, but she's a penniless unemployed housewife who doesn't have a dime to her name that her husband didn't give her. Smart people would know not to piss off the person signing the checks. That's why she does all her nastiness behind her husband's back because if he ever got tired of her and threw her out, she'd have nothing without him. Nigar should remember that when speaking to Reyhan.

And Emir whines about it being his life and him deserving the final say, but he's the one apparently controlled by the luxury of his father's lifestyle. If Emir was truly dedicated to getting to dictate the terms of his own life, he'd be willing to work for that freedom by leaving his father's house. He lives off his father's money and then acts surprised that his father wants to dictate the terms? Freedom is a consequence of responsibility. You can't expect freedom when you're not willing to earn it by doing for yourself what someone else is doing for you.

They don't even care about Rehyan at all. She hasn't changed clothes since her first day. How can the Hikmet not see the hurt in her eyes. He should be protecting here more 😥 Emir should not be hard on Rehyan, she does not deserve it. Emir's mum is super watching from Canada!! thanks for the subtitles!!!

This is the first time that I am watching Yemin but I'm not sure I want to continue. My heart breaks for Reyhan and I just want to give her a big hug. 🤧🤧🤧🤧 Despite how awful and degrading they are treating her, she still conducts herself with such dignity and grace. I hope that happiness is coming her way...?

Emir likes Reyhan! What he can't accept is the forced marriage! If Hikmet had just introduced them to each other and left the rest to
