Went to a former Super Kmart the other week in Queensbury, NY. It's still a Kmart but no longer a super center. But it was the biggest Kmart I've ever been in, despite the fresh foods not being there. I was so surprised with how large it was! Has the same setup as this store.

How sad. I was born in 1985, Marietta, GA. My parents used to get our stuff at K-Mart in the 80s/90s. It was a real treat going there. I looked forward to all the toys and I still remember hearing 'blue light special' as a youngggg child.

I think this Kmart video you did is one of my favorites I was surprised on how clean it was. The Kmart's where I live at is not that clean I think this Kmart is one of the best Kmart I have seen keep up the good work can't wait for the next video thank you

It truly is a shame that Kmart couldn't make the Super Center concept work. The store was just built so much better. It didn't look like a giant warehouse; it actually looks and feels like a store. I hope and Kmart/Sears can come back. It would suck if all we could shop it was Walmart.

This is now Meijer and I've never been so sad to see a store close. My mom worked for Kmart in Niles for over 30 years. I remember when this Kmart was built. Before this location they were located on route 422. American Freight is currently occupying the original Niles Kmart building. I knew every employee at this Kmart. In the dairy section, the doors between the eggs and milk, was the supervisors office. On the hallway wall going to the office was a mural of paint handprints of all the Kmart employees that were there when this location opened. Thanks for the memory refresher

It really is a very clean, well-kept store!!! I can see how it managed to stay in business for so long!!! I haven't been to this particular K Mart in nearly twenty five years!!!😮

I think that wall reminds you of Ames for a reason. If I'm not mistaken, an employee said this was an Ames before Kmart took over the place and expanded to a Super Kmart.

You were talking about how PA has this law about big stores selling beer, PJP Marketplace (I don't know if you've ever heard of this place but there are a few in Philly), has a Beer and Wine distributor right inside the store.

Thank-you for showing the inside of a Super Kmart Center. It kinda reminds me of how the first Kmart in Omaha, NE looked but the food store and department store were separated by a wall back in the 60's and 70's when there were K food stores around.

Best part of that super Kmart is their grocery dept. Awesome deals on lots of food at all Kmarts!

Great! I remember there being a Super Kmart in San Antonio on Loop 410 and Marbach... It was abandoned for years and now they're turning it into a charter school

There was one in Tinley Park, Illinois, close to where I lived. It then became a Sears Essentials and finally just closed completely. There’s a Sears Outlet in the same shopping center, ironically enough. Now it sits vacant.
