Non - Normal distribution of data in SPSS

There are data or responses from a survey that holds a non- normal distribution. Meaning that our data is non- normal in nature that depicts lack of symmetry in the distribution. We can state that our data is not normally distributed when the normality values are not ideal. This type of data can either be modified or can be handled with a different set of tests.
Such non- normal data can be analyzed in SPSS Software using non- parametric tests.
