Russia has confirmed the death of Wagner leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in a plane crash on Wednesday.

Speaking to Sky News, former Senior British Military intelligence and security officer, Philip Ingram, said it was "almost certainly an assassination by Russian intelligence".

He added that Russia would not admit to the killing of Prigozhin, alongside his right-hand man, but he was increasingly becoming a "political opponent" of Putin.

I don't think there's anything to wait for. It's clear who was responsible for this. In the end, it's one murderer murdering another murderer. Good riddance.

We blame bad weather on the Russians. So assume Putin will blame this crash on bad weather

He was a Soldier of Fortune and a "Dog of War" and knew how his end would come if any. He had no illusions about it. He knew what the price was for being a Soldier of Fortune. He knew the terms of the contract and they are easy: No retirement. There is only one way out; through the sword in a casket. Same terms await Zelenie. He can’t just walk away.

Did he really believe he could lead a rebellion on Putin and that then Putin would wipe his mouth of it? LOL....C'mon!
