Locked in and thoroughly bored at home during the UK lockdown, a raver is looking for something entertaining to do to prevent himself from going mad. While reading the dull and dreary news in the papers, he happens upon a promotional mailer tucked inside. The mailer details a "radical, audio, visual, experience" contained within a VR headset, promising to obliterate his boredom forever.

He goes online, venturing deep into the sketchy parts of the dark web to complete his purchase. A package arrives with blacknet logos all over, containing a sleek white VR headset with the blacknet logo on it and the letters R.A.V.E. He nervously puts the headset on, and is immediately blinded and deafened by an intense laser show within the headset and the frantic sounds of the track. After being briefly startled, he removes the headset, calms himself and attempts it again. He begins to go crazy, headbanging and dancing.
