I have the grishko 2007 and I love them

I wore the Novas as my first time back in pointe shoes when I returned to pointe in my 40s (danced on pointe from age 15-19). They did not work for me at all. What I liked: higher wings on side, width. What I hated: heel was too low and would come off constantly in class despite criss cross elastics; shank broke on me after 2 hours of use, making the shoe have zero support, vamp came up too high and dug into my metatarsals making it hard to demi releve and roll on to pointe. I didn't want to give up on the Grishkos so I tried 2007s. The heel worked better in that shoe and it just felt more comfortable with slightly lower vamp, but still had issues with the shanks not lasting very long at all for my bendy feet. One thing I liked about both shoes is the taper so that I never felt pressure in my big toe that sticks out.
