Yup. I had a character who’d been alive for a few weeks, just got out of a gunfight, and was pretty weak and out of water. Tried the boiling water trick with a stream, ended up dying as I tried limping back to my base for meds.

Scorpions are hard to see when equipped with a backpack on. They are common so losing one isn't a big deal. Ammo is common, they suppress well, and are great for putting down zombies, on auto they can still do work. I have a "going into town" kit in this current run, inconspicuous earth toned clothing, leather backpack (one dear gives you two) and some light supplies. Whole goal is to raid industrial areas without risking too much

Arrows are not broken on impact when hitting zombies or other players in fact it can also color multiple people and zombies simultaneously and still be able to be picked up

I often hear people say that burrying a bag or crate with a shovel is a good idea to stash valuable items.
Does this means you always have to stick with a shovel on your shoulder in the case you want to retrieve your items?

How much time for the burried items to decay/despawn?

Great vid, but the isolated base tip I sort of disagree with. We have an isolated base, but no gates in the outside. The doors prevent anyone from seeing it. Is that still a bad idea?
