I like where Elite 2.0 is going. With the Motoblitz and now the double punch, it seems Nerf is returning to its fun gimmicky roots. In a way, it's kinda the Nerf ultra select's elite 2.0 counterpart.
Edit: elite 2.0 got canned. So, uh, this comment didn't age too well.
Here's hoping they try something creative with N-series and don't Just recycle previous designs a bajillion times over.

I love when Nerf makes somewhat gimmicky, but fun and functional blasters. The fact that the double-punch is able to operate smoothly is VERY welcome too. It shows that Nerf has once again recognized what makes them unique in the hobby.

As one of the ancient Hail-Fire owners, yes I might’ve misspelt that, I can confirm the trigger pull is AMAZINGLY SMOOTH. When I heard that this has essentially the first comparable trigger to the hail-fire in almost 11-12 years, the $80 price tag for something I’ll never use against other people in a nerf war May be paid anyway

What I appreciate a lot about this blaster is how visually it has Zombiestrike flavoring sorta. It certainly feels like it may have originally been designed for that line but they changed it somewhere down the path, but man it hits with some nice nostalgia

I feel like this shows there are people at Nerf who are doing a good job. As someone who grew up in Nerf's heyday (mid to late 2010s) I have seen Nerf fall behind their competitors and it is very nice to see them actually making a blaster worth getting and being excited about.

The double punch is actually much better than the small ass extremely high rate of fire pistols because it doesnt just end up putting the whole mag in a single zombie, this you can actually control
