Have you've ever bought a new ATV just to find that your battery was dead?

Here's why... This happens a lot with atvs that have sat at the dealer for months without use. When purchased, often times the owner doesn't ride it a lot or maybe only on weekends. Many ATVs also have a clock which takes a small draw on the battery besides the battery slowly discharging over time. EPS models require more juice to operate properly and if you use a winch you will definitely be needing more battery power.

A few tips: Use a battery maintainer if you only ride weekends. Ride more, if you only ride it for a few minutes it's possible the battery hasn't been able to recharge from starting the ATV. Get a good AGM to handle more load and get back to riding.
