I think the Carrie/Brody relationship is at its best when their motives are ambiguous. When you’re not sure whether they’re fucking with each other or just fucking. Which is basically the whole series except for “The Choice.” You still weren’t sure whether Brody was playing her (and it’s also deliberately ambiguous how involved he was with the bombing). But I still found their relationship compelling in that episode and the end of “In Memoriam”
