Back after taking a 1 month break :). Improvements over Hgt's tas comes from an extremely fast glitch, and a different strategy at the turncut. I think there's still some time to maybe be gained, but not that much. Hopefully we can see a 19 one day, but it'd require a lot to get to that point. This run looks fairly clean to look at though, so unless there's something new found, it might be impossible to reach that barrier.

Here’s a glitch you probably don’t know. I found an out of bounds on Toad Circuit. You know that small area where you can use a small kart to fall out of the map on Toad Circuit? Well there’s more to it. If you align yourself correctly, you can stay on the grass and explore out of bounds. Wasn’t able to get an ultra shortcut to work, but it was a nice out of bounds area. Curious if you have heard of this one

that is crazy. you build up a miniturbo, release it on the shortcut, then build up another one and release THAT midair. you literally snake midair. thats crazy
