It would be ironic if the back-to-back losses encouraged him to juice after he was so vocal about PEDs when he was on top of the world. Such a revelation would be damning, but I wouldn't be shocked if that were the case.

Maybe you wouldn't still have any of the strength and muscle you put on while on PEDs after 6 months but one of the biggest benefits of PEDs is that they allow you to recover faster than normal. If you can recover faster than normal that means you can go harder and longer in the gym and then bounce back the next day to go again. Basically you're able to do more high quality intense reps over time with the PEDs while you're on them than without them. This means you could possibly learn a new technique faster than you would be able to without PEDs. You might be able to keep more of your already known techniques "sharpened" and ready to go. After 6 months you might not have any of the physical effects of the PEDs but the and extra knowledge and technique the PEDs let you gain will still be there.

So if you get 1.5 years of PED/steroid training, which lets you work somewhere between let's say 20% more and 40% more (muscles recovering faster, body recovers MUCH faster), then you stop taking any substance for .5 of a year (6 months), then it all even's how? lol. How? That 20% extra training day in and day out for 1.5 years doesn't go away, it culminates and grows. And muscle memory stays for life. It will recede, so you will lose a good amount, but if you properly train with high protein uptake, you can actually keep a fair amount of muscle gained while using steroids.
