What I can prove for sure. As a person who has tested a lot of these Yuzu forks, it is true on the Snapdragon 778g and only on the MK11 game. Indeed, on Yuzu forks you can run a new game, or not necessarily a new one, which for some reason cannot be loaded on Yuzu , or flew out before the gameplay. However, the performance is still the best on Yuzu, I had MK11. But I am not against the existence of those forks. If only it were not for the sake of hype on behalf of Yuzu developers. And it really developed their annual achievements and improved compatibility with new games. Because for me personally, the end of the Yuzu developers was not pleasant and painful. Because I really counted on this emulator. But it happened as it happened, Nintendo closed it once and for all in the form in which we knew it, it will no longer be .I have only one hope left for Strato, and for Yuzu forks, where would I go without them.

UPDATE : After extensive testing, I’m excited to report that NYUSHU can now run Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag It does have the same graphical glitches as UZUY, but it’s a solid step forward in compatibility. I’ll keep you posted on any developments, especially if UZUY also becomes capable of running Assassin’s Creed 3 since a solid update just drop for UZUY and it's running great. Just downloaded suyu and ditched good old ryujinx on my laptop it was slightly better but I played with it's graphics settings and I put it in 0.5 graphics settings and get it looks still good i switched it to dock mode and believe me it gave constant 30 fps on Pokemon scarlet and throughout last 2 years i haven't had that real 30 FC ps playrate but yesterday I downloaded it and played I had never been so happy ❤ finally I can play it on my pc without any frame drop and anyone who has lower end pc please twitch it to 0.5 settings in graphics it will run smoothly

I wanna add my experiences with yuzu on 3 different SoCs

Razer Phone 2 (Sd845+8gb ram)

Was able to run the pokemon games i tested (bdsp, Pla, violet) but had to be toned down to .5 res and tweaked a lot

botw booted but max 10-15fps

ZFlip 3 5g (sd888+ and 8gb ram)

Mostly the Same as the Sd845 in my testing, churned out better fps but still needed res toned down and settings tweaked a bit

pokemon violet was able to play all the way to the end game but it was super low fps and the phone got super hot (sd845 crashed at mesagoza)

better performance with botw but still not playable in my opinion

Xiaomi 12 (sd 8 gen 1 + 8gb of ram)

All sd 8 gen 1 tests were done with active cooling due to overheating issues with the SoC, force max clocks off and all games also running mods

Pokemon bdsp runs flawlessly at native res and super resolution in my testing, there is a slight tank in performance near beaches which will be the case with any device but it's not as bad with sd 8 gen 1 and above devices

PLA runs almost perfect but there are slight frame dips in jubilife village and field areas, tested at .75 res with super resolution on too

Pokemon sword runs relatively well with slight performance dips here and there but playable to the end, i was playing at native res with super resolution on

Pokemon violet runs well till the phone gets hot, it can churn out 30fps with the right settings but this game definitely needs some kind of active cooling while playing due to how hot it gets, i tested at .75 res and super resolution on with the phones game mode set to max performance, there are many fps drops due to the game being buggy in the first place but with the game update installed it significantly improves

Well kinda disappointed on the Emulation although some games are running. But takes so much effort to test and such to see if anything works.

I'm currently setting up my first android based handhelds (RP4P rn then moving on to an Odin 2 Max) and it's going SLOW. I still haven't gotten around to Switch emulation, and I figure that will take even longer to figure out, but WOULD really like to emulate some lightweight 2D indie stuff (like Celeste and assorted shmups). Which one of these emulators would you say works best (for android specifically) overall? Or try different ones for different games/the different handhelds?

The games what you tested run even on toster. I also have a device on snapdragon 860. With some moding i can play games like: mario odyssey, mario kart 8, ctr and other.
My advice.
You need to test more hardwere games to show us the difference between emulators.

No mali gpu can not use turnip drivers. Someone made mali specific drivers which only mali can use if you try launching a game with turnip it will crash on boot coming from a former mali gpu device owner i now own a snapdragon 888 device
