My first two MINIs were R55s (Clubmans) - 2010 and 2014. Next I owned a 2008 R56 and two R53s. I am not fond of the enlarged third generation cars. Let's hope the fourth generation gets smaller.

Great video ! What about the exhaust sound compared to the previous 192 hp ? Do the "pops & Bang" still remained on sport mode or it is more aceptized ? I can't hear well on the video. Many thanks

Took a 2020 on a test drive after driving my r53 to the dealership. Totally different car this ain't no Mini! I'll just take the money and put it in my r53!!

Not a fan of the digital dash or general facelift. I have a late 2018 registered (2019 model Cooper Clubman S top trim - forgotten the name) and really rate it.

The R53 just looks so much better, they had the design spot on, this, although a nice car, looses the originals design features, the rear lights now meet with the tail gate, makes the rear look wrong. The front has a huge overhang making the car seem long and loosing the 4 wheel stance the original and r53 had. Also the front lights and grill just look weird on this gen, the car looks like a surprised fish. This revision does look better but they need to make it more like the Fiat 500 in keeping the originals design true.
