Is this cheating cuz I'm missing a body part? 🤷‍♀️

Your ability to be consistently aiming for progress despite chronic pain & missing foot is inspiring.

I love when peoples mental health allows them to set goals and achieve them. It’s such a pleasant thing to watch, knowing people are feeling better about themselves.

Pullups are way more core intensive than one might think before one tries.

I can’t even do one pull up. You go girl!

Female Marines, who opt in to pull-ups, are required to do between 4 and 12. You did well. Keep it up. 👍

Jo, thank you for the reminder that when I’m having chronic leg pain I should focus on what I can do and not what I can’t!

Oh hell yeah check out that upper body strength! My swallowing issues have been getting worse and the nerve damage in my right arm and spine has been progressing faster than usual, so I picked up wheelchair basketball to feel competent at something whilst also feeling agile. I may not be spectacular but I can now throw a ball to someone and it ends up within their reach rather than nowhere near them and its a hell of a confidence boost :) I'm very proud of both of us :)

That’s a crazy impressive improvement after only a month or so! Huge props to you!

Congratulations Jo! I know about limitations and they can be a real downer but we keep improving things that we can. You bring me inspiration to always keep moving forward. Thank you.

Congrats on being able to do 6 pull-ups!!! I’m working on my own strength and can’t do an unassisted pull-up yet, but it’s so important to focus on the progress! When I first started, I was able to do one only lifting 25lbs. of my own weight, then I hit 45, and the other week I hit 65!! I was so immensely proud because, even though I can’t do a full unassisted one yet, I’m getting better.

Anyway! All this to say, I’m so proud of you for your progress even despite all the challenges with your leg, you’re still moving forward and that’s awesome!

Neutral grip for the win, that's my preferred pull-up too since I have shoulder/back issues.

I can completely sympathize. I started working out to get in shape for a trip I'm taking. I did like 20 squats yesterday and was put of breath. I don't think I have ever been able to do a pull-up. Keep going!

I like that the doggo is encouraging you by standing *directly* under you when you're exhausted and want to drop down.

Okay— Now you’re just showing off lmfaoooo 😂

You’ve actually been the one to inspire me to exercise (that used to be the evil E word). I still hate it, but I can almost do a push up now! 😁

Keep it up! You’re phenomenal ❤

You're seriously awesome! You're a really genuine, hardworking, and down-to-earth person. I love your content.
Also, great job on the pull-ups!

That’s absolutely amazing. You’re so strong, I can’t even do one pull-up without having to jump to do it. Your strength and motivation always inspires me to work harder when exercising.

God bless you ma’am. My sister became paralyzed from the waist down just before all this Covid BS. And her unrelenting determination is what keeps her going. She was a mom, teacher, scuba diver, swing dance instructor and rock climber before. You just gotta keep going. Because what good is curling up in a ball and crying gonna do anybody?
