I think it could be good but will end up being cheesy and short.
I like the ambition, I just hope it doesn't stop them working on career mode which needs huge improvements. For too long career mode and pro clubs has been ignored and they keep adding little gimmicks like this.
Sort goalkeepers and at daft crazy AI, plus career mode depth and bugs (you can't even see a history of how many goals you've scored throughout the years and the news is always short and the same!)

TL;DR : Like the idea, but means career mode/pro clubs will be ignored again.

man for the first time in a while I'm genuinely excited for FIFA 17 the story mode looks amazing I hope it's in depth and not just the AI messing up just to make this progress I hope it's dynamic since they put a big emphasis on it at e3

Don't want to play a story mode about a manu fanboy ending up joining Man U. Hope we can customize all that.

Story mode is just a gimmick for me, fifa is about gameplay, mechanics and physics, much like fighting games it's gonna be played like crazy online and in tournaments.
