When Maul and Savage faced against Sidious they were beaten soundly. Filoni said that had Maul teamed with Ahsoka they would’ve beaten him.

Maul was very much imprisoned and had limited growth, and Sidious should’ve had a steady growth considering he was more balanced in that period.

Meaning that it’s Ahsoka who has to pull the weight more than Savage to best Sidious.

Agreed. Savage was really strong for the short amount of time he was practicing the darkside and training in the way of lightsaber combat. But Ahsoka's just got way too much experience and practice for him. Not to mention her dual wielding style is somewhat of a counter for him.
