Delhi Excise Policy Case: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has declined to appear for questioning before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in relation to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam. Instead, he plans to join Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for a roadshow in Madhya Pradesh. In a letter to the ED, Kejriwal justified his decision, citing his role as the National Convener and star campaigner of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and his governance and official commitments as the CM of Delhi, especially with Diwali approaching. Kejriwal has characterized the summons as vague, motivated, and legally unsustainable.
