The Flycart 30 is a very impressive drone. I didn't realize just how big it was. Thanks for sharing.

DJI is king for a reason! They make stuff so nice to fly. I recently started FPV and quickly realized how spoiled I have been all this time with DJI. After seeing this I want to do more!!

Back in the early 2000’s, I remember a video of these three guys standing at the base of a mountain, next to water. They were launching an RC Helicopter, that they had made autonomous, up the hill and it flew between buildings. It carried a camera. Those guys were the beginning of DJI.

The video was posted on a forum. I was part of an Internet forum, dedicated to RC Helicopters, that had a subsection dedicated to interesting projects. We were trying to stabilize a contraction that basically was 4 tail booms with tail rotors attached to the center section of training gear…I.e- a square block of wood cut from a 2x4 board. The tail rotors were from .30 size helicopters. Peizo gyros were just coming in to the market, but I was using two Futaba G130 mechanical gyros. I wouldn’t consider it a success at all, but those guys figured it out. Yaw was an issue along with many others. They were just fun projects made from spare parts that barely flew. I bought my first Octocopter kit in 2006. It was a German kit and life hasn’t been the same since.

Man sponsored or not DJI leads the drone commercial industry! So cool seeing this crazy technology application in the day by day of people.
Sad here in Florida they are banned for government applications

Finally, I will be able to sleep on my way to work using a drone. The automatic route function would work perfectly for this.

Never thought that one day my favorite Youtuber would visit my work place. It's a pity that I didn't come across with you that day.

I live in North Carolina and was driving home from work one afternoon late last year and a drone about this size dropped down and was hovering over a corn field... I was surprised by the size and sound of it. really cool to finally find this video showing a giant drone.

Never been this early to a Potato video. I would be so scared standing near that thing. Those props look like they'd cut me in half haha

12:52 regarding helicopters flying low. In order to initiate auto-rotation safely while flying slow you need to be flying high as the first thing you do is push full down collective to maintain rotor speed and then usually push into forward flight. But you can also do it while flying low and fast such that you flare to increase altitude while giving down collective to keep the rotor rpms up. Where you get into trouble is flying both low and slow. Take a look at the helicopter "height-velocity curve" aka "Dead man's curve".

the person piloting the ramming drone knocking ice off those lines is a badass... to be able to swing that pendulum and fly that close to power lines like that. :o
