#1 Alabama, #4 Tennessee, #8 Miami, #9 Mizzou, #10 Michigan, #11 USC, #22 Louisville, and #24 UNLV all lost this weekend and all of them except Mizzou lost to unranked teams. Madness.

I'm a die hard Oregon fan, but what I find myself doing this year is watching as many other B1G teams play as possible. It's amazing for my favorite team to be in a much better Conference (although I enjoyed all the PAC12 years). It seems to me that Ohio State & Oregon fans should be more civil. I'm hoping for a great game on Oct 12th...we have all been looking forward to it! Autzen is a magical place to watch a college football game. I hope a lot of Buckeyes fans make the trip to Eugene. The SEC is our mutual enemy. Let's keep the ball rolling, and have another B1G national champion this year. Go Ducks! 🦆

It's not just about NIL. These players are not just hires, they are passionate about the brand and forming a real team. Look at Florida State, with all their rentals, and how ugly that situation is. They don't care about the school or its history and traditions. A Buckeye without gold pants feels unfulfilled. Reducing the players to mercenaries is unfair to them. NIL is the state of the game and TOSU has just adapted to it sooner than others. Next year, it will be universal. TTUN is already bragging about their war chest dwarfing the one in Columbus.

We got #6 Oregon, a likely ranked Nebraska, #7 Penn State and We also have ranked opponents in Indiana and Michigan at the end of the season. By the time the playoffs come that “ who have they played narrative not gone work no more. None of these rankings mean much. You win the B10 you are going to be #1 or #2. Winning or losing on October 12th really doesn’t matter either. Now that we have a “real playoff” any team can control its own destiny even with one loss. What I never understood is why the playoff didn’t start with at least 8, but this is better. This makes college football even more fun than I can ever remember. However, the game in Autzen will be the game of the week and we get to see how good these teams are.

Howard not looking good? He just threw 4 tds and went 21-25 for 200 yards. Plus had a rushing td. Did that against a better defense than oregon. Sure he threw a int, but that makes 3 in 5 games. Cam ward has 5 through 6 games.
