bubble wrap is real fun on gel plates. my kids also like using the end of a paintbrush to draw pictures in it. of course the poop emoji caused big laughs!

Love mixed media and playing with my gelli plates. You can use stencils and household items and make really cool prints. You can also make prints using various inks instead of paint., I love using deli paper and also cut it up to use on my cards and scrapbooking. It makes me smile to see you using mixed media on your projects. TFS and have fun. Happy day

You can also roller from inkpads onto the gel plate to build up layers of colour - depending on the type of ink pad and type of paper you get really interesting results

If you let your platen dry al little bit after your first print, then put a very thin layer of a light color you get also a stunning print

I learned about gelli plate printing a number of years ago. Haven’t done any lately, you’ve now inspired me to pull them out again. Another person to watch is Barbara Gray from Claritystamp, she has a number of YouTube videos on this.

Doing Gelli prints is SO addicting! You’ll likely find yourself collecting all sorts of things for making marks into you Gelli plate - fruit bag netting, bubble wrap, cookie cutters, bottle caps, etc. :)

For the words issue with the jelly plate, what if you used a transparent paper like vellum or those deli sheets and then you could try flipping the paper over?

hello from Norway :) you have to use art printing, for eksempel from Caravelle studio, they are make it specially from gelli plate, they aren't mirrored :) but if you just use regular stamps is better without words. love to play with my gelli as well. Is addicted :D stencils work as well for gelli plate and letters :) I usually use die cuts, just in paper and it works really good :)

Stamp on the deli paper or tissue paper and then turn it over and glue on to paper with matte medium

Clear emboss the word in your page first then add gelli print over the top :) TFS

You could write your word backwards, or write it as you did into the paint, then stamp the word correctly onto the dried print - sort of artsy like!
