The SC has ordered the Centre and Air Quality Monitoring Commission to hold meetings on Monday and Tuesday to coordinate with NCR states.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that a work from home policy and a ban on industries were among the measures suggested by the government to tackle air pollution. 'Red Light On, Gaadi Off' campaign (to curb vehicle pollution), which ends on November 18, will be extended by 15 days in Delhi, said Environment Minister Gopal Rai. "The second phase will run from from November 19 to December 3," he said.
