Two things I'm surprised Doug missed:

1: The keyhole in the engine compartment is not for the engine, it's to disconnect the hybrid battery from the engine/electric motor.

2: The engine cover instructions he was referencing was not for the glass engine cover, but the instructions for opening the driver and passenger doors before lifting the rear body cover up to expose more of the engine.
