Princess Diana broke royal protocol

Princess Diana has neglected almost all royal traditions when it comes to raising her children. She chose to give birth in a hospital rather than in a palace, and this decision was truly audacious. Prince William became the first member of the Windsor family to be born in the hospital. Diana also broke with tradition when it came to naming her sons. According to protocol, the names should be chosen by the father, but Diana refused to use the names chosen by Charles. therefore, Princes William and Harry could be called Albert and Arthur, respectively. Diana was also the first to publicly declare that she would breastfeed her children herself. In the past, wet nurses were hired for this purpose, and it was considered inappropriate for a member of the royal family.

I would never want another person to breastfeed my baby. It is incredibly important for bonding. And if the person is abusing substances, it can cross over into the milk.
