Isolated reactive wind slab in Huntington Ravine 2/11/2022.

Huntington Ravine 2/11/2022. Found a soft pocket of reactive snow lookers left in the fan under a rock buttress. This is not representative of the Huntington Ravine snowpack, but an isolated pocket. The distribution of the new snow was widely variable. Thin in many places exposed to the wind, 35 - 45 cm in wind protected locations tucked under terrain features. The new snow has a couple of minor density changes within, however is easily slid on the pencil hard Feb 5 slab below.
