Even talking about the beauty of the natural sites, considering the size of Italy which is between new Mexico and Arizona, I don't think there's one state in the US as reach as italy in natural beauty. Not even twenty or more states together.. From the south to the north, it's absolutely amazing. The sea, the mountains, the wonderful lakes. I think about " la Grotta azzurra aa Capri", Dolomiti, the unbelievable landscapes in Toscana, the " Grotte di Saturnia" with the " Cascate del Mulino" as background (reminding me the fabulous Pammukale in Turkey). And so many other sites everywhere along the country. The list would be endless.
I know pretty well both countries, i know what I'm talking about, but i have to say that the only think i really enjoy in the US it's the beautiful nature.

Grand Canyon, Sequoia Redwoods, Yosemite National.Park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, PNW coastline, Alaska, etc. USA for natural beauty.

Haha, I totally thought of “natural beauty” as being in reference to human looks too. If it is land, that is tough for me because I personally prefer Italy, but the US is so big, with so many different kinds of landmarks to see, it may get an edge.

I’ve lived in both Italy and US. US is a melting pot. There are so many different cultures it’s a beautiful thing to see. It’s the most diverse place I’ve ever lived. All the different cultures I’ve gotten to experience is quite something

I agree with Jessi It is natural beauty of the land. We can give it to the USA just because of the diversity, but Italy is amazingly beautiful as a land.

For its much smaller size Italy has way more natural beauty than the U.S. Yes, the U.S. has some amazingly beautiful places, but you have to travel days to get there. In Italy you just have to turn in the other direction to have your breath taken away once more.

I would say the US has more natural beauty, because if you consider Alaska, and all the islands, plus the beautiful Rocky mountains, and the canyons, it has more variety and i think it's more beautiful.

I wish I'll travel there one day, it must be spectacular wandering all around the country through every state and their amazing landscapes.
I'd like to rent a car and go anywhere, I guess there are plenty of empty spaces.
Italy on the other hand has natural beauty as well but is over crowded nowadays. That's why I dream about a trip in the US.

I guess Italy and USA are so different in many ways, let's say also that the history and cultural heritage are on the Italy's side.

I wonder, is it possible to travel the whole USA by train?

I (a German) just moved to Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. The weather here is absolutely horrible 😂 always humid. Cold and humid. Hot and humid. It’s not for me.

As an Italian who used to live in the US I can say Italy can not compete even close with the Natural beauty of the US (Landscape). Because the US has so much diversity. I would also vote US for climate because the US has it all. If you want the cold you have Alaska, if you want the tropics you have Florida. If you want a mediterrenaean climate you have the coast of souther California.
