I cannot listen to Gladys Knight, without tears flowing down my face like a river flowing . I saw her in concert in Atlanta a few years ago and cried like a baby the entire time. Every song she sang reminded me of my loving father, (who loved Gladys Knight and the Pips), who passed away 26 years ago.  

Although I love this song, but right now I am balling my eyes out because my father was the best thing that ever happened to me, and this song is a homage to the life he gave me. He adopted me when I was two days old and gave me a wonderful childhood and a great foundation to build a life with my great hubby Michael. Thank you Gladys for this great moment for Whoopi, and for the rest of the world, Gail McBride in Atlanta Georgia.
