I used to live at 27th ave and northern, it was never great but I never had any problems either.

I lived on 27th Ave. Can confirm prostitution, drugs, homlessness, and violence. It's worse now than ever before and it was awful before.

Came out here from California. It's getting bad in the last few years. What I left behind has now caught up. AZ is beautiful but not the place to raise a family. In another 5 years violence will spread out to the suburbs due to the increasing cost of living

Back in the early 2000s I worked at Bourbon street, Babes cabaret and Tiffany's ( I think it changed to Christy s).. Before the market crashed that part of the adult entertainment industry was was on fire..One year when the Superbowl was in town, I made 10k in one week dancing at Babes..and I'm saying just topless dancing no "outside " jobs. Sadly when I drive by those clubs now I'm lucky if I see 1 or 2 cars parked in their lots! Its not like it used to be

cops surrounding them and also homeless, grocery cart at bus stop. Probably offering them one way free ticket to venice beach, much better weather conditions there
