Great review... I was interested up until the battery. I don't have solar in any capacity and want replaceable alkaline batteries for the radios... What would you recommend that has AA or t AAA batteries and maybe somthing that is comparable to the $70 set from Midland at Walmart ?

LIKE my 2 pack for $22. Cannot be programed w/o software, computer, & a programming cable. Does not have a channel lock. It's narrow band, not wide. PERFECT for simple uses: Road trips w/ friends, kids at camp, warehouse... At that price no tears if lost, stolen or destroyed.

I suggest people go for a Ham License. It is worth it. But these are the next best thing. I have a GMRS Call sign and Ham Call Sign. They are both worth it.

my charging cords only had the one plug. not 2.
and i guess do to cheeping out for box sizing baoeng has a lousy antenna selection on all of there portable radios. as the better length ar about 15-16 inches tall. not easy to fit the small box.
but if they would sell as a twin pack. and or with spare battery and charging cradial. box would fit the better antennas O hay if only they had thought first…build the mp31 to fit the cradle for the other radios. AKA: one charger for the whole line.
but thats too simple.
maybe i will buy that multi charger. and modify to fit?

Mine are different than those it’s got a shitload of buttons and digital info too they will even pickup fm radio too lmao !!
