Gilberto Gil’s 'Palco' is one of my all-time favorite songs. For example, I listened to it 100 times straight last New Year's Eve.

I made this video because I needed to spend my time doing something positive at the beginning of quarantine, after all my concerts and recording sessions were cancelled. Every instrument I'm playing or singing was performed in one take: what you see is what you hear. I wanted to capture the feeling of it being "live" in a time when there is no live music. And of course, it felt only fitting to have this video performed over Zoom, because, well, it’s 2020. Thanks to Ben Suliteanu for the brilliant idea ;)

For anyone watching, I hope it brings you lots of good vibes and positive energy as we move into (I hope) a brighter future.

And it wouldn't have happened without the help of all my family and friends. Thank you for helping make this dream of mine come true.
