Anyways, one comment to potentially help your followers. I haven’t seen any YouTubers talking about the March to October way to get these stage 2 affinities done. I clocked myself through a season and I won the World Series (ON VETERAN) in just under six hours.

Nobody is mentioning how the points are now doubled. For example, I did not grind the Byron Buxton Affinity Stage 1 when the game came out but I wanted Kiriloff. So. Here is how I got it done and I feel it’s easier for players who aren’t as good at the game compared to streamers like myself.

10. Complete the Twins collection.
3. Do the Buxton moment
22. All Star Break. The game says it only gives you 11, but in reality, it gives you 11 since it’s a stage 1 and 11 since it’s a stage 2 mission. So you get double the points at each gateway.
22. End of Regular Season
10. Win ALDS
20. Win ALCS
This brings me to 87 which unlocks the Kiriloff Moment. Do that

3. Kiriloff Moment
30. Win World Series

That brings you to 120 Affinity Points. I have unlocked 7 of these Stage 2 players already through this method. Yes the moments get a little dull on March to October but you can legit trade away any high end prospect and I always seem to find Yelich, Villar, Posey, Story, Dickerson, Bauer on the block in nearly every run. I hope someone stumbles into this and it helps them! I’m not good enough to skip bosses on Showdown so I found my way to be the most effective for a beginner. Keep up the great work man.

On Giant Comeback you're allowed to push it into extras. I hit a 2-run homer right away in the eighth and then it just became a war of attrition in which the odds heavily favored me. There's no one to replace Adon so I just wore him down, my pitchers were rollin' so I beat him in the 12th lol

March to October is double point at the moment so if you do a whole season on all star you can 120 points total. This gets both the face of the franchise and future stars card

I honestly feel like stage three is going to be a legend from every team or a player that played for that specific team for their whole career or almost their whole career. id say probably like a 95+ version of those guys would be sweet

Ok so looks like for the 3 moments that give u diamonds, 1st 2 r 85-89 and last 1 is 90+ so u could end up with 2 99's on a showdown run.
