My experience has been different, from top to bottom. Sure, in the previous generation, but now, as said by women, both when they know certain people are listening, and when not, they'd be lowering themselves, both their standards, because they know they can do way better than a guy who's not extraordinary, and to caring for a man, unless there's extreme payoff. Why should she? He's nobody, and can be replaced, that afternoon.

The differences, between men and women are a major dividing line. And just coming from the prospective of a man, who isn't worth the time or effort (until I'm needed, for some problem), knowing that women see you as a convenient solution, when needed, and pion, when not, is sad. There's been an interesting reversal. Late 30s, early 40s, suddenly, I'm worth being polite to, even trying to pressure me into dating again. I may have imoroved on some things, but I'm still me, the one they said they'd be lowering their standards, to entertain. It's all very confusing and depressing, but good on you, for trying to lift the spirits, of us worthless men.
