It was created to meet the demands and lifestyle of today’s customers by providing access to more difficult city center airports. The Global 8000 business jet has an impressive range and performance. We will be talking more about this private jet today. If you don’t want to miss out on any detail, stay with us till the end of the video. Now, let’s get into it.

Today, Bombardier Aviation is an aerospace and rail behemoth with a slew of highly regarded business aircraft, including the big cabin-class Global 8000, a stunning business jet with global capabilities for up to 19 pampered guests.
Global 8000 is an ultra-long-range high-speed business aircraft developed by Bombardier Aerospace which entered service in 2017. The final assembly of the aircraft began in September 2011 at Bombardier’s Toronto manufacturing site in Canada. The aft fuselage of the plane is being built at Bombardier’s Queretaro site in Mexico.
Meggitt was awarded a contract to provide fire protection systems for the Global 8000 aircraft in March 2012. GKN Aerospace is providing composite winglets and ailerons for the aircraft under a contract awarded in August 2012. The winglets are being produced at GKN’s production center in Isle of Wight, UK, while the ailerons are produced at GKN’s facility in Munich, Germany.

The Global 8000 business aircraft delivers a more versatile, pleasant, and light-filled living space than any other three-zone cabin in business aviation, thanks to a design philosophy centered on customer demands and the total trip experience. The Global 8000 business jet provides more excellent room, comfort, and elegance to our clients than any other aircraft in its class. The Global 8000 aircraft was intended to fit the customer’s lifestyle, and while it performs best with eight passengers, it can comfortably carry up to 19 people.
The window design of the airplane optimizes natural light at all seating places and gives much-increased viewing angles and viewing range, whether sitting or standing. Throughout all sections, six windows per zone are ideally placed with chairs and monuments. The innovative seat design offers unrivaled comfort on lengthy trips—all seat berths give all passengers bed-like comfort.
The innovative lighting design allows for simple modification of the cabin atmosphere in any zone and is adaptable to your preferred activity: work, play, dining, or simply resting. The aft stateroom, located in the cabin’s quietest location and a permanent bed option, gives ‘home-like master bedroom comfort and closeness. The tastefully decorated private en-suite facilities might additionally include an accurate stand-up shower.

The Global 8000, along with the Global 7000, was designed to deliver the highest degree of flexibility, comfort, and aircraft performance. The fuselage is 31.2 meters in length, 2.8 meters in width, and 8.3 meters in height. Its wingspan is 31.7 meters, and its winglets are canted to decrease turbulence at the extremities of the wings.

The Global 8000 is outfitted with a Bombardier Vision flight deck that has integrated fly-by-wire technology. The cockpit contains four LCD panels, a Head-Up Display, an Enhanced Vision System, and a Synthetic Vision System. It offers graphical flight planning as well as a MultiScan weather radar with wind shear protection.
The aircraft also includes the most recent Performance Based Navigation features such as Wide Area Augmentation System, Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance approach, and Area Navigation, which allow the aircraft’s position to be determined continuously wherever it is within the scope of navigation aids or the limits of a self-contained system’s ability. It also has Controller Pilot Data Link Communication.

The cabin of the Bombardier Global 8000 is spacious, having a capacity of 63.32 cubic meters. It is 13.89 meters long, 1.88 meters tall, and 2.44 meters broad. It has a maximum seating capacity of 19 passengers and four crew members. The cabin of the Global 8000 has a distinctive design that may be arranged into three attractive suites with large windows. Passengers may experience the quickest worldwide in-flight internet access while the airplane flies across the world. Video conferencing, downloading high-definition content, and streaming HD content are always available.

The Global 8000 ist a slightly modified 7500, it has just a little bit more range, but the same huge cabin. You can even upgrade your existing Global 7500 with the Global 8000 package, that is an official Bombardier upgrade. That means the price gap between the 8000 und 7500 goes almost directly into the margin of Bombardier. And by the way, the Global 8000 has the same speed and range as the Gulfstream 800, but it has the much larger cabin with 4 sections, since the Gulfstream 800 does not use the large cabin of the Gulfstream 700 with 4 sections but uses the smaller cabin with 3 sections of the former Gulfstream 650.

Once again to everyone reading or adding a voiceover, the name of the company is NOT " Bom Ba Deer" like in a WW2 bomber. The name is pronounced "Bom Bard D A". with emphasis on the 2nd syllable. Can you imagine anyone calling the Gulfstream brand a "Gu lf stre am" ?

From their website: "Expected to enter service in 2025, the Global 8000 aircraft development is ongoing, and the program is progressing to plan." Translation: This aircraft is years away from going into production, and that's optimistic.

The description of the video is very outdated.

The original program was supposed to be a Global 7000 + a shorter 8000. But since the range of the 7000 was finally 7700 they renamed it 7500.

The upgraded 8000 was announced only few months ago. The 8000 won't be a shorter version as supposed originally.

I loved the informative video about the Bombardier 8000. All except the pronunciation of said Bombardier. Originating in La Belle provenće du Quebec, correct pronunciation is French in orientation.

Can you please correct your pronunciation of the company name Bombardier, it was an immediate turn off for an aviation buff. Bom-BAR-de-er, not Bom-BA-deer... Thanks.
