I find the negativity puzzling. Don’t we all understand that Lee and Pete are just doing their jobs, presenting to us new products to consider? Plus they are doing it quite well, providing fun and humor along with great information, and giving all of this to us at the convenience of watching it on our phones! I love these videos. I have made several determinations on purchases due to research conducted partially from their channel. I say, “Thank you, Andertons, for the content! Keep it coming.” If people don’t appreciate the content, then don’t watch it.

I still watch these videos even though I already have enough drive pedals. It's interesting to see what the pedal makers come up with and listen to Lee & Pete talk about tone.

I just got the blue pedal. It's fantastic. And part of my decision to buy came from this video. I went back to watch a few times, and I loved the sounds Pete was getting, and his excitement was conntageous. I took a chance and I dig it. I love Origin Effects pedals. I have a few, and love them all.

Honestly, this video is way better than the actual demo of this pedal from Origin since Pete was a regular I've been a mega fan of this channel! I'm trading my UADFX Reverb for this pedal thanks to this video...keep up the great work boys!

Pete's right hand technique is epic. Credit where it is due.

“That excites me.” Me too!!! That’s everything, be all end all of tone. BB is the greatest overdrive circuit of all time.

As usual Origin effect's pedals are top notch. yes they are expensive but as a owner of a revival drive hot rod compact, I can say their products are very very good.

The people hating on these pedals have probably never tried Origin's stuff.

I have the Cali 76 Stacked Edition and it's good. It doesn't matter how you set it, every single position just makes you sound better. It gives you your guitar tone but just thicker, warmer and more present. Further, you can't feel it. A lot of compressors feel squidgy and laggy which puts me off and reduces my enjoyment of playing the guitar.

With a lot of pedals, before you get to about 10 O'Clock on a dial, they do nothing and then after 2 O'Clock they get fizzy or noisy.

Origin are handmade in the UK and are just really, really high quality. Just turning the knobs is really pleasing. Yes, they're expensive, but i think you get good value for your money.

I just removed two overdrives from my board, telling myself there where way too many of them already.
So thanks for this.. 😂
At least I have the space for this one now..

major cudos for pete and lee continuing to make these videos with zeal, despite the majority of the comments always seeming to be various forms of sarcastic outrage at how “crazy expensive” the gear sometimes is. if that’s the lasting impression, I can assure you all that you are not the target market for this gear. prices are inflating world wide ofcourse, but comparitively music equipment has increased in quality while managing to stay pretty constant in price if you adjust for inlfation rates. we’re spoiled for choice nowadays and there’s always a more affordable option if you want it.
it’s just funny to me how negative people are, how can you be after watching lee and pete? it’s beyond me.

I think the real star of this presentation is the graffiti yellow Tele. What a marvellous sounding custom shop guitar.

I think the adaptive switch may come into play more if you are using this as a preamp vs using it to drive something else harder.
