Kirlian Camera - Ocean (Extended Version)

A-side of Kirlian Camera's 12" single, Ocean (1986), released in Europe by Virgin. This is clearly an attempt to create a New Wave hit by Italy's Kirlian Camera, who are far better known for their more Industrial-influenced, gothic synthpop than for palatable pop hits. A bit of an anomaly in their catalogue, considering that Kirlian Camera failed to chart with this single and returned to their more definitive sound afterward. Although I understand its intention (marketing/money), I still think it's rather lovely.
