Thanks for another informative video. This antenna (or a simpler one) will be good for my motorhome 4g and 5g reception. What would you suggest for an external aerial to boost campsite wifi into the van. It's invariably a weak signal.

Hi great podcast and some interesting info. I currently have a Poynting 4G-XPOL-A0001 Cross Polarised 4G Omni LTE Antenna and a TP Link AC1200 4G LTE Router that I use in my caravan when away touring. Im looking to upgrade but don't really want to shell out £700-£800 in one go, so maybe get the Mimo 4-4 first. Can I ask a couple of questions please.
1. If I pair the MIMO-4-4 POYNTING 4-IN-1 with my AC1200/Archer MR400 will I see improved 4G signal due to the puc size and technology inside ?
I was also considering the Mimo 3 but I presume the 4 supersedes this and is the better option ?
2. What 5G router would be the most cost efficient for use in my caravan a Teltonika 5G router or InHand as I will want to also have duel sims for a more robust and resilliant installation.
3. Im not sure of the added benefits of the Mimo 4 - 17 as I won't be using GPS and im not sure what the WiFi bit of it does, does it take a signal from the router and extends it outside up to a certain range (30m) so that the wifi can be used away from the base unit or a hotspot from others ?
Hope your able to advise and then hopefully proceed with a purchase.
Kind Regards
Andy

Hi I have a coachman caravan but really don’t want a hole in the floating roof, would a mimo 3 or 4 or the Avtex 104 equivalent work ok inside the van or would you need say a x3000 say from Gi net

Do these Antennas come with a longer adapter & lock-nut to enable fitment to a Caravan Roof which are generally substantially thicker than a Vehicle roof?
