Idk why it looks like a stick figure woman, the hook reminds me of the hanger shawna tried to use, the line through the triangle males me think of pit girl like falling and being stabbed, not sure what the extra arm could be. Thats just a random thought tho

It looks like a sigil one would create in witchcraft, probably as a ward. And the antler queen is too much like a wendigo for me to ignore the connection. Cabin man probably tried to protect himself from a cannibalistic spirit?

Also the hooks. There are hooks all over the cabin.. well there WAS hooks on the cabin 🫣

Unrelated l, i think tai started the fire, stole the bear meat, and even is the catalyst for all of this, and i think it has to do with seeing the man with no eyes through the mirror specifically.

The triangle or circle could be the cabin and the lines could indicate pathways to water or food or other shelter. The hook could be the exact place that would lead them to rescue. It’s a map.

I think it means the circle is e sun, the triangles and lines are the overlapping mountains, and the hook at the bottom could mean the connection to the wilderness? I also heard it could be about mining, but that goes down another rabbit hole

the trigonometry theory i think is a really good one, one of my theories from the first season was the guy from the cabin got lost for some reason probably the plane, and was trying to use trigonometry and angles to figure out where he was and how to leave which explains why they are everywhere, he slowly lost his mind and died in that attic. then the girls come and being teenage girls seeing the symbols, + lottie’s mental illness ofc they are going to believe that it’s the wilderness spirits whenever anything good or bad happens, they needed to find a reason for it all happening cause they couldn’t cope with the fact that their plane just. rashes because they where unlucky

The only good one was the first you got real lazy with the second two possibilities. Ive heard its some kind of mining symbol, and it is similar to one of demeter, a godess. The cult one doesnt even make sense, of course it ENDS up being a symbol for a cult, lotties cult, because she stole the symbol.

I'm pretty sure that the symbol was made by Taissa's other personality and that she was the one to start the fire in the Cabin (the saddest part is gonna be that Ben's gonna die blame for it in S3)... And obviously everything is related to The Man and we cant forget that Tai has been seeing this creepy dude since her childhood.
