I just got a set of these tires and I am very impressed. I debated about running liners but decided to give it go both front and rear. My Intense 951xc feel much stiffer than my buddies Sniper T ("Same frame"). The damped feel of the tire was the most impressive. I am 205 lbs and ran 19 psi on both tires. The bike is silent now and I ran though some trails woth heavily exposed roots here in NH. It was amazing how much less chatter came through the bike! I did notice the acceleration was not as snappy but i may just need a bit more psi in the rear. The ground was also very soft for a 50 degree day in December. Traction and breaking was fantastic and one at speed these rolled really well! Looking forward to more miles

I love the Agarro. They came in under 2.6 and they are finiky with air pressure but they roll soo fast and have really good grip

I live in Tennessee by Kentucky lake, all xc trails here no mountains. I will have to try this tire, it looks good and i always like to use the fastest tires i can get away with for where i ride . The dhr and dhf combo so popular now is just to slow to push around all day !

I still don't understand the difference between "trail" and "downcountry." He says DC is between XC and Enduro, but isn't that trail?

Looks bang on for long days. Very well balanced 👍🏻

I ran this as a rear tire in 2022. It lasted for about a month, before getting a 12mm slash in between the knobs. This happened on a pretty tame trail with no sharp rocks. I have ridden this trail for years even using XC tires. Maybe it was a coincidence? I really liked the way this tire felt but have reservations about getting another one. This was on a 2022 Element.

I have a 2022 Santa Cruz Blur TR like he's riding and I'm curious how this tire would be for the varied terrain I ride here in the Canadian rockies. I am very hesitant to give up the XC light weight and rolling resistance but there are so many rocks and loose trails here and I love going down hill almost as much as up.

If they made this as specifically a front tire, I would buy one.

I'm currently using Vittoria Mazza (F) and Martello (R) and I think they're great. I do however think the Mazza is a bit overkill for the terrain I'm riding. It grips well, but I think I'd like to find a tread that's a little faster. Martello (F & R) is an option, but I'd also want to try out other varieties.

Barzo 2.4 front and rear great for "downcountry"

Would try these tires if they didn’t have the ugly red logos. They should have kept with the grey sidewalls so you could mix and match tires through their line up

how about a syerra in the front and a barzo in the back?

Is anyone stocking this tire yet? Haven't found any yet even on Vittoria's site.

Looks like a maxxis rekon, but with smaller center tread, almost semi slick.

this tire is missing in narrower variants

Well, in the end, it's actually Vittoria's review here, not yours, which is a bummer..we want more independent reviews, not company backed ones or full-company ones like the one we see here 😔😔

That dude can talk mad shit about tires all day. Bottom line, I like the low center tread and high edge knobs. I’ll try them. Didn’t bother listening to so much BS
