Thank you for your tutorial, which helps me a lot. I have several questions, and I appreciate it if you provide some answers. If I understand right, factor mixture models assume that there are both continuous and categorical latent variables. In the syntax, c(2) is the categorical latent variable, and F1 and F2 are the continuous latent variable (factors). Does this syntax assume that two classes both have two factors? Is it possible to ease this restriction, for example, the number of factors differ across classes? In addition, here, it seems like F1 and F2 are determined by different indicators (which are known in advance). How should i process if i do know the relationship between indicators and factors in advance? Many thanks!
