Insurance is all based on risk assessments. We have 10 million illegal immigrants now in this country who are known to drive while intoxicated and drive without any D.L. or insurance. We as taxpayers and auto insurance payers pay the price for it because our auto insurance companies have to eat the costs. This happened to me. An illegal destroyed my parked vehicle and it was an 18K loss. My insurance company had to eat the costs. He was an illegal driving without insurance and no drivers license. It is more common than you think.

What a crock.

Why is the advice always cut back, live within your means, go without, settle for less?

Life wasn’t like this just a few short years ago.

If the cost of insurance goes up 20% then when the cop stops you just pretend you only speak Spanish. You don't need insurance if you're illegal. Everything is free, especially in blue states.

She needs to explain to the government about not living above your means. Then our national debt maybe wouldn’t be above 34 trillion dollars.

I was living within my means 4 years ago, but then a strange thing happened, everything became twice as expensive and my income went down 30%. I haven't changed anything but now I am not living within my means.

She’s not realizing that this insurance rate is on top of groceries and everything else being raised.

Why aren’t these things more transparent for insurance purchasers. Insurance companies are criminals

Premiums started increasing dramatically when insurance companies adopted ESG.

My insurance has gone from $132 two years ago to $178 now. Same truck and motorcycle and I haven’t gotten a ticket or filed a claim or anything.

From June 2020 to December 2023, my auto insurance DOUBLED FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON! Good record, no tickets, no accidents and drive less than 7000 miles per year 😡. Did comparables and came up with the same numbers. One BIG BRAND NEW EV's that are TOTALLED by insurance companies FOR A DAMAGED BATTERY for example. The batteries cost anywhere NORTH of $20K. Once again the little guy gets kicked 👎🖕😡🤬

Auto insurance company's have a captive audience since the "promotion" of their ideas to politicians went so well.

I live without Starbucks, cut my own hair, shop used clothing, etc etc. Food budget is $45 a month and no heat. How dare you laugh it up at our distress. You are so disconnected from the American populace and actually rather rude.

I now pay more for vehicle insurance than I do for fuel in a month.
