Calvin Coolidge is a most under rated president and intellect. I glad to see him honored in this way.

BTW the scholarship is almost 100% merit based. No consideration to affirmative action, racial or socioeconomic or geographic. Unfortunate but it is still a good opportunity. And they don't really care what applicants' politics are. There are essays that require you to think and read about Coolidge's political beliefs and how he would apply them to modern day events, but they are really assessing your understanding of Coolidge and your willingness to understand perspectives that may be flawed or disagree with your own, which is an important skill to have to be a good citizen in any case.
