The screwed up by acting like injecting a unprecedented amount of money into the market and explaining the raise in prices as transitory. It goes against every single thing taught to the students at most good universities in their entry level economics courses.

"They didn't tighten, they just stopped printing money." That IS tightening, Scotty. The reason why interest rates didn't explode through the roof is because the fiscal deficit wasn't 10-15% of GDP. Why wasn't the fiscal deficit 10-15% of GDP after World War II? The federal government slashed its budget by 60% in two years, that's why. We won't be seeing that again.

This guy talks a good story, but he’s always wrong on predicted outcomes. He’s wrong on the 10 year treasury yields, he wrong that the fed will pivot, etc.

Mr. Minerd is correct the FED has failed us again. No more QE, No more MBS purchasing.
We can never find “true prices” with the FED Manipulation.
