In this clip I fly an IFR flight plan to KPSP airport in Palm Springs CA. But as is usually the case my plan gets changed as ATC requested that I change my route near Palm Springs to get in front of some landing jet traffic. To make it happen I had to make a rather steep descent while 'maintaining best speed possible". In the past I think I would have opted to take the long route home but in the Cirrus SR22T G6 it was no problem at all.

Hehe...PSP, I buzzed the tower there once. True story. I was with my instructor in a BE77 Skipper. The tower told us to turn west immediately after departure. With half the runway left, my instructor said turn' west, now like they said! ' That put us in the path of the tower at less than 100 ft AGL. I could see the whites if the wide eyed controllers in the old tower cab.

Another fun video, thanks! One thing to maybe look into however, your audio is much quieter than the incoming ATC audio. Not sure if there is a reason for this or it can be correct, but just wanted to mention. You probably already knew this anyways ;)

I can't believe the lefts and rights and redirects all just to go to KPSP. When I fly from Burbank ..take off and dial 090 sit back and enjoy the scenery! I have no idea why he decided to take this short trip ILS. VFR at 5, 500 thru the Banning pass and you're there. They brought him into the valley at 9, 000 with the airport at sea level!! he had to dive to make 31 Left!
