I watched this around halloween 5 years ago and I was impressed. Sure, the animation is cheesy, but the narration is great. I specifically remember that year's Halloween being droll and misty. There was a looming stagnant flatness in the air, like a worn down reed instrument, and the liveliness of autumn that made one's soul fit for tales of fantastic horror. And it happened to be in this form that I remember it best.

I was watching "The Fall of the house Usher" recently and just reminded me of this awesome anthology base on Edgar Allan Poe's works and the late Julian Sands ♥ This is one of my favorites.
